Southampton right-back Kyle Walker-Peters says the club’s ex-Manchester City quartet are ready to star for the Saints.
Samuel Edozie, Romeo Lavia, Gavin Bazunu and Juan Larios moved from City to St. Mary’s.
City boss Pep Guardiola said the reigning Premier League champions retained a buy-back clause for all four players in case they ‘explode’.
When asked if any of them could do that in the next nine months, Walker-Peters told the Daily Echo: “All of them. All of them.
“They’ve all come here for that reason, in the first training sessions you wouldn’t think they’ve just come from being under-21 players.
“They’re eager to improve, confident and listen to the advice given to them, which is great. All really, really good boys and all of them will play a big part of the season.
“You have to get used to playing tough games as a young player and I think they’ve done really well. I think they’ve shown resilience playing against top teams, not getting star struck but just getting on with it which is great.
“They’ve got room for improvement, we’ve all got room for improvement, but we’re going on a good path.”
