Southampton manager Hasenhuttl targets more player contract talks

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has hinted the club could agree new contracts with a number of players.

Moussa Djenepo penned a three-year extension with Saints this week.

Asked about contract discussions with other players in his squad, Hasenhuttl told the Daily Echo: “Yes, never stop doing this.

“We must always be in touch with the players you want to have in your club and want to stay in your club.

“I think it’s important that we show the way we want to go and they show their commitment.”

Mo Elyounoussi, Theo Walcott, and Willy Caballero are entering the final 12 months of their contracts.
