Saudi White Falcons to play Newcastle this month

Newcastle United will host a Saudi Arabian national team at home later in the month.

The club and country are strengthening ties, given the Saudi Arabian investment in the Magpies since their takeover by a consortium last year.

Per the Daily Mail, Saudi White Falcons will be consisting of Saudi players up to the age of 19.

They will take on a Newcastle United academy 11 as part of a series of friendlies.

Another game will involve Saudi Green Falcons, a second team that is made up of youth players.

In addition, Eddie Howe’s senior squad leave for a week-long stay in Riyadh for their mid-season break during the World Cup.
