Ranieri admits Inter Milan miss 'fundamental' Perisic since Spurs move

Former Inter Milan coach Claudio Ranieri says losing Ivan Perisic has hurt the Nerazzurri this season.

Perisic left Inter for Tottenham last summer.

Ranieri told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Let’s give (Simone) Inzaghi time, even if some substitutions seemed rushed.

“In some cases it would be good to talk to the player to understand if, after the yellow card, he can continue.

“But he lost a fundamental player, Perisic. A thorn in the side of his opponents. He attacked, created (number) superiority, returned to cover.”
