Man Utd ace Ronaldo forced to call on youth teamer after locker room ban

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo had to make a special request of coach Erik ten Hag earlier this month.

Ronaldo was barred from the senior dressing room for a few days after he refused to come on the field as a substitute in a Premier League win over Tottenham.

Per ESPN, Ronaldo was upset at that decision, despite refusing to take the field and leaving the stadium before the Spurs game had concluded.

The source adds that Ronaldo had to ask one of the club’s youth players to retrieve his trainers from the dressing room.

However, he was brought back into the fold days later by ten Hag, and even handed the captaincy for a recent game.

Ronaldo stated in a recent interview with Piers Morgan that he had no respect for ten Hag.
