Liverpool considering Wolves ace Nunes as Bellingham alternative

Liverpool are considering a move for Mateus Nunes next summer.

The Reds are desperate to boost their midfield group, especially with the age profile and injury concerns of their central midfielders at present.

According to Brazilian outlet UOL, Nunes is emerging as a surprise option for Liverpool.

He only signed with Wolves a few weeks ago from Sporting CP in Portugal.

However, he may be headed for a big move in less than a year’s time.

Nunes is seen as an alternative to the Reds’ primary midfield target, Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund.

However, Bellingham is rated at £100 million, and will be the subject of interest from every top English club and possibly Real Madrid.
