Leicester City are seriously interested in RC Lens striker Lois Openda.
The 22-year-old has joined the French outfit this summer, having spent two seasons at Vitesse in the Eredivise on loan.
He netted 37 goals in 88 games in Holland, and has now shown his qualities in Ligue 1 so far this season.
According to Media Foot, the Foxes are now looking at Openda for a summer transfer.
Leicester believe that he has the ‘speed, power and efficiency’ to thrive in the Premier League.
The English side may see him as the ideal long-term replacement for Jamie Vardy.
However, the French report does state that Lens are not in the mood to lose Openda anytime soon.
