Defensor Sportng chief Ares declares Inter Milan interest for Matturo

Defensor Sportng chief Daniel Ares has revealed interest from Inter Milan for Alan Matturo.

The teenage centre-half is being tracked by several European heavyweights.

“We are a club that trains players and we are proud of it. Alan joins a list of great players who have left our team, such as Martin Caceres, Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Damian Suarez, Maxi Gomez, and Mauro Arambarri,” Ares told FCInterNews.

“We’ve had no direct communication from the Nerazzurri, but the interest in the player was expressed to us by Alan’s representative.

“We are open to listening to the various offers of the clubs, but our intention is that a percentage of the future resale of the boy remains with us.

“Many clubs have shown an interest in Alan.”
