Talk of a meeting in England between Cristiano Ronaldo and agent Jorge Mendes with Bayern Munich officials has been rubbished in Germany.
It was claimed in the Daily Mail that the Manchester United striker and his agent met with a Bayern delegation just days before his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
But Sky Deutschland’s Florian Plettenberg has denied the story, insisting the summit didn’t take place.
Plettenberg is reporting Bayern are not interested in Ronaldo, which is what chief exec Oliver Kahn stated earlier this season.
Bayern do not want Ronaldo due to his age and also the confidence they have in their current attacking options.
