Chelsea are exploring a move from Stamford Bridge to Earls Court.
The Daily Mail says the club have put together a team to oversee plans to create an elite new stadium — and a 60,000-seat ground on a 40-acre site in Earls Court is among the options that will be considered.
Chelsea first considered moving there in 2013 under former owner Roman Abramovich, but Hammersmith and Fulham Council knocked back the idea.
The site was sold to property developers for £425million in 2019, but has yet to be developed.
Earls Court Development Company, responsible for driving the development of the land, is set to publish a draft masterplan for its future over the winter.
As such, the development remains in early stages, and no planning applications have been submitted.
A source says a Chelsea stadium in Earls Court was “not on the cards, but not impossible. Things can change”.
