Boehly ready for Chelsea to offer Ronaldo Man Utd escape route

Chelsea have received a huge boost in Todd Boehly’s mission to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

The club’s co-owner is determined to add the Manchester United superstar to his squad.

Per CBS journalist Ben Jacobs, given Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan this week, where he blasted United, a move to Chelsea is very likely.

His agent Jorge Mendes will speak with the Blues, but there are some complications.

It is unclear if coach Graham Potter wants Ronaldo, as then manager Thomas Tuchel did not want him in the summer.

United may also be less willing to sell Ronaldo to a rival, unless Chelsea offer a significant transfer fee.
