Bayern Munich are planning a summer bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Bayern chief Oliver Kahn has already confirmed that Kane is the priority target.
Although a move did not materialise before deadline day, the German giants are still eager to lure him to the Allianz Arena.
Sky Deutschland reporter Florian Plettenburg, Bayern Munich are already in talks with Kane’s representatives over a potential transfer NEXT summer.
Plettenburg said: “I am totally convinced Harry Kane will become a very, very hot topic at Bayern Munich for the next transfer window.
“It depends on the striker’s performance this year. Bayern bosses have told them ‘let’s see what happens. We have Mane. We have Coman, Sane, Gnabry and so on’.
“But if they don’t work and they will miss that number nine, then I told you, Bayern Munich is a number nine club. Harry Kane will become very hot.
“There was definitely contact between the Bayern responsibles and Charlie Kane, the brother of Harry Kane. We hear it confirmed that Harry Kane can really, really imagine joining Bayern.
“It’s too early to say he will do this. It depends on the situation with Tottenham. Nobody could believe Sadio Mane would make that step from the Premier League to Bayern, so why Harry Kane shouldn’t join him?”
