Barcelona attacker Ansu Fati was involved in a traffic incident in the city on Sunday.
Fati, called up by Spain coach Luis Enrique for the World Cup in Qatar, crashed into and knocked down a motorcyclist while parking his vehicle.
The injured man, who fell to the ground, has an injured ankle and was accompanied to hospital by the striker, who was concerned about his condition after the incident.
That’s according to Cadena Ser, who added that Fati – who did not suffer any injuries in the accident – is staying in contact with the motorcyclist to find out how his injuries are progressing.
The incident comes on the heels of a happy week for Ansu Fati, in which he learned of his call-up for the World Cup in Qatar, the first in his short career.
Despite the injuries, which are now behind him, the forward has been called up by the national team coach.
