Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli was not surprised with teammate Fabio Vieira’s stunning goal against Brentford.
The Gunners reiterated their staying power at the top of the Premier League table on Sunday.
They ran away to a 3-0 win against Brentford away from home in the league to go top ahead of the international break.
Asked about Vieira’s stunning distance strike against the Bees, he told reporters: “Don’t say that [responding to Vieira saying he got lucky]. He’s been practising that shot every single day, so it’s not luck.”
“We are always together!” Martinelli added.
“He’s a very good guy and everyone loves him. What I can do to help him, I will do and not just him, but everyone in the squad, I will do my best to help.
“With him it’s easier because he speaks Portuguese.
“It’s easier. What I can do I will do to help him, he’s a nice guy and a very good friend.”
